Law enforcers identified the young men who were listening to Russian music in Podil district of Kyiv. They have now been brought to administrative responsibility.
This was reported by the Kyiv police, Censor.NET informs.
Yesterday, on 14 April 2025, while monitoring social media, police found a video of a group of young men on the street listening loudly to music by Russian artists.
"Despite the remarks of passers-by and reminders of the tragedy in Sumy, where people died as a result of a rocket attack, the young men did not turn off the Russian track, but instead turned up the music and started mocking the citizens.
Law enforcement officers identified all the offenders - two 17-year-old local residents and a 20-year-old resident of Kyiv region. They explained their actions by the fact that they were intoxicated, as they had consumed alcoholic beverages the day before, which their older friend had bought," the statement said.
Administrative reports were drawn up against the young men under Articles 173 (Disorderly conduct) and 178 (Drinking alcohol in public places and appearing in public places while intoxicated) of the Code of Administrative Offences.
At the same time, the parents of the offenders were also held liable for failing to fulfil their child-rearing obligations (Article 184 of the Code of Administrative Offences).
The young men are currently being investigated by the Security Service of Ukraine.
