Ukrainian Defence Minister Denys Shmyhal held a meeting with his Estonian counterpart Hanno Pevkur, who announced a proposal to allocate €3 million for the purchase and support of Starlink satellite communication systems for Ukraine.

During the talks, the ministers discussed strengthening air defence, drone production and the creation of joint defence enterprises.

"We value Estonia's participation in PURL. Ukraine is also ready to contribute to projects under the SAFE framework, which will promote the mutual development of our defense industries. We also discussed the training of Ukrainian warriors within the Operation Legio," the Ukrainian minister said.

He thanked Estonia for its strong support and contribution to ensuring stable communications for the Ukrainian military.
