Communication for military and critical infrastructure: Ukraine receives 5,000 more Starlink terminals from Poland. VIDEO

Poland has provided Ukraine with another 5,000 Starlink terminals that will ensure uninterrupted communication in places where it is most needed - hospitals, schools, and critical infrastructure facilities.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Mykhailo Fedorov.

How starlinks are used

Starlinks will help residents of the frontline areas stay in touch: call their relatives, call emergency services and read the news. Due to shelling and the destruction of base stations in the de-occupied territories, regular communication is not available.

How many starlinks has Ukraine already received from partners

Thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Digital Transformation with international partners and donors, Ukraine has received more than 50,000 Starlink terminals, of which the largest number - 29,500 - came from Poland.

"We are grateful to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitalisation of Poland Krzysztof Gawkowski and the Government of Poland for their contribution to Ukraine's resilience. Thanks to international support, we continue to stay connected even in the most difficult conditions," Fedorov wrote.

Earlier, Polish Minister of Digitalisation Krzysztof Gawkowski said that Poland was purchasing Starlink to support Internet connectivity in Ukraine.
