Police officers from Police Station No. 6 and the Kamianske District Police Department exposed a 26-year-old offender. During a sanctioned search, more than 8.5 kilograms of chopped and dried cannabis worth almost 2 million hryvnias were seized from the man. The seized evidence was sent for expert examination.

According to the police, the suspect planted the cannabis himself, carefully tended to it, and after it matured, harvested, dried, and packaged it for further sale, Censor.NET reports.
In agreement with the Zhovtovodsk District Prosecutor's Office, the suspect was notified of his suspicion of committing a criminal offence - the illegal production, manufacture, storage, transportation or sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale.
The perpetrator has been detained - he faces imprisonment
The issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is currently being decided.
