One person killed in Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia region: rescuers recover body from rubble. PHOTOS

In the Zaporizhzhia district of the Zaporizhzhia region, rescuers found the body of a person killed under the rubble following a Russian attack.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, according to Censor.NET.

"After a Russian strike, local residents reported that someone might be trapped under the rubble of a destroyed residential building. During rescue operations, emergency workers located and recovered the body of the deceased," the statement said.

Consequences of the attack

In addition, at two other locations, a store building was destroyed and a residential house caught fire as a result of the attack. Firefighters extinguished the blaze.
