Andrii Buda, a member of "Plast" and a soldier in the 10th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was killed on the front line.
This was reported by Yurii Yuzych, according to Censor.NET.
In 2014, Andrii was among the first to go and defend his homeland. He took part in the battles to defend Mariupol.
Since 2017, he has been on contract with the 10th Mountain Assault Brigade "Edelweiss". He carried out tasks in the area of Popasna in the Luhansk region.
Since 2022, he has been back in combat with the Edelweiss Brigade. He took part in the defence of Lysychansk and Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast. A soldier, he categorically refused sergeant ranks. Formally, he is a machine gun platoon driver. In reality, he spent three years in a fire support company - an anti-tank platoon, where he used "corsairs", "fagots" and "javelins". Since May 2025, he has been in a machine gun platoon.
During his participation in the anti-terrorist operation and full-scale invasion, Andrii Buda received seven awards and medals.
He was killed on 10 December 2025 in the Siverska community of the Bakhmut district of Donetsk region (hit by an enemy drone).
