On the evening of 18 December, Russian drones attacked the Odesa region once again. The energy infrastructure and civilian facilities were targeted.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, and the regional prosecutor's office.
As a result of the attack, energy infrastructure, an administrative building, high-rise buildings, cars, and nearby garages were damaged in Odesa and the region. Civilian facilities were damaged: the windows and facades of 20-storey and 19-storey residential complexes.
As a result of the strikes, residents of one of the largest residential areas in Odesa were left without electricity, water, and heat.
"Emergency repair work is ongoing. All services are working hard to restore electricity, water, and heat as quickly as possible. Resilience centres are operating in the city.
The enemy is deliberately targeting vital infrastructure in an attempt to destabilise life in a peaceful city," Kipper said.
