Australia has delivered the last batch of 12 M1A1 Abrams tanks to Ukraine. In total, the Ukrainian Armed Forces received 49 tanks as part of Canberra's military aid.

Delivery by sea and training in Europe
The last batch of tanks was shipped in October on a commercial cargo ship. Five Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel escorted the cargo.
After 55 days, the ship arrived in Europe. In Poland, the tanks underwent inspection and necessary repairs, after which they were transferred to Ukraine.
Amount of aid from Canberra
Since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, Australia has provided Ukraine with a total of $1.7 billion in defence aid.
Australia remains the largest non-NATO country providing significant financial and military support to Ukraine.
