On the evening of 19 December, an unidentified electronic object resembling a radio beacon was found near the entrance to the Public Reception Office of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War in Kyiv.
The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War reported this on Facebook, according to Censor.NET.
Coordination Headquarters staff contacted the police.
Coordination Headquarters staff immediately reported the find to the police and relevant specialized services.
An investigative task force is working at the scene to determine the origin and function of the device.
Circumstances surrounding the appearance of the "radio beacon" are being examined.
Police are looking into all possible circumstances surrounding the appearance of the "radio beacon" near the Public Reception Office of the Coordination Headquarters.
"The public reception office of the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War in Kyiv is an open public space created to help the families of prisoners and missing servicemen," the statement said.
