At night, the Russian army carried out a massive shelling of the city of Kherson with multiple launch rocket systems, injuring six civilians.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press centre of the State Emergency Service.
Large-scale fires broke out
As noted, large-scale fires and destruction occurred. Private residential buildings, non-residential and warehouse buildings, a garage, and an apartment building caught fire at various addresses.
While dealing with the aftermath of the attack, emergency services rescued two women: one was pulled from the rubble of a private house, the other from a damaged apartment.

According to the RMA, the number of victims of the night-time Russian shelling of Kherson has risen to eight.
The women, aged 76, 84, 75, 68, and 70, were diagnosed with concussions, blast injuries, and closed head injuries. One of the women from Kherson also suffered burns, while another had a head injury.
Three victims were given medical assistance on the spot by an ambulance crew, and two were taken to the hospital.
Morning shelling
At approximately 07:20 a.m., Russian troops shelled the central part of Kherson. A 63-year-old woman was hit by enemy fire. She suffered a concussion, shrapnel wounds to her arm, and explosive and closed head injuries.
The ambulance crew delivered the victim to the hospital in moderate condition.

- Over the past day, Antonivka, Komyshany, Sadove, Zelenivka, Novodmytrivka, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Chornobaivka, Kizomys, Novotyagynka, Ponyativka, Tokarivka, Milove, Dudchany, Novokairy, Burgunka, Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Mykolaivka, Milove, Mykhailivka, Sablukivka, Vesele, and the city of Kherson.
- Russian troops struck critical and social infrastructure and residential areas of the region's settlements, damaging 16 high-rise buildings and 67 private houses. The occupiers also destroyed a church, a shop, a warehouse, a farm building, a gas pipeline, a private garage, and a car.
- One person was killed, and 18 others were wounded as a result of Russian aggression.
