SSU has exposed minor who was directing shelling of Dnipro on orders of his father, agent of Russian Federation. PHOTOS

The Security Service’s counter-intelligence unit has detained another Russian military intelligence agent in Dnipro. He turned out to be a 17-year-old local resident recruited by the enemy, who was directing Russian air strikes on the city.

In January this year, SSU officers detained his father, who was also found to be a spotter, reports Censor.NET.

Details

As the investigation established, the minor son ‘worked’ for the Russians alongside his father. Following instructions from the head of the family, he drove around the frontline city, attempting to identify the locations of industrial facilities that could be fulfilling defence contracts.

After his reconnaissance trips, the young man "reported" to his father on plants and enterprises which, in the minor’s opinion, were producing weapons and ammunition. Among other things, he sent him photos of Ukrainian facilities and their coordinates on Google Maps.

The "senior" agent collated the gathered information for onward transmission to the head (resident) of the intelligence group, who is based in the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Should they receive the intelligence, ruscists hoped to use it to prepare a new series of shelling attacks on Dnipro.

SSU officers established all the circumstances of the hostile cell’s intelligence and sabotage activities, secured the locations of potential "targets" and detained the underage agent.

During searches, a smartphone and a flash drive, concealed in a folding knife, were seized from him, containing evidence of his work for the Russian GRU.

SSU investigators informed him that he was suspected of high treason, committed by a group of individuals acting in concert under martial law.

The suspect is in custody without the right to bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
