In Chernihiv and the surrounding region, strikes by "Geran" drones on enterprises and infrastructure have been recorded. There is one casualty, and houses have been destroyed and communications facilities damaged.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the regional military administration, Viacheslav Chaus.

In particular, at around 15:00, a strike hit the premises of a food enterprise in Chernihiv, damaging the warehouse, equipment and products.

In the evening, strikes hit transport infrastructure, injuring a 36-year-old railway worker who is currently in hospital.

Strikes across the region

As a result of the attacks in the village of Novhorod-Siverska community, residential and outbuildings were destroyed; the fires were extinguished by emergency services.

In the Semenivska community, hits were recorded on mobile communications facilities and a boiler house.

"In total, there were 40 shelling incidents and 62 explosions recorded in the region over the past 24 hours," added the head of the Regional Military Administration.
