Series of attacks on Kharkiv: at least six strikes and hit on house. PHOTOS
Since the start of the day, the enemy has attacked Kharkiv six times with drones. The enemy targeted a critical infrastructure facility in the Kyivskyi district.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Mayor Ihor Terekhov and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to Terekhov, the first ‘Shahed’ strike was recorded at around 01:49 – a fire broke out at the impact site.
Subsequently, during the night and morning, the city endured several more attacks:
- Repeated strikes were recorded during the night and in the morning;
- as of 06:28 a.m., four strikes had already been reported;
- the fifth strike confirmed a targeted attack on a critical infrastructure facility;
- in total, at least six explosions were heard since the start of the day, after which the attacks continued.
After 9 am, the enemy attacked the city again with drones.
At around 10:08, another attack on the Kyiv district was recorded.
There are fires and damage
According to preliminary reports, several cars caught fire as a result of one of the strikes. A fire at the site of the first strike has also been confirmed.
Information regarding casualties and the extent of the damage is being clarified. Emergency services are working at the scene.
Consequences of the strike on a high-rise building
Two people were injured as a result of a Russian drone strike on a nine-storey residential block in the Shevchenkivskyi district – they suffered acute stress reactions
The explosion destroyed the external wall of a flat on the 9th floor, damaged window panes, parts of the heating system and three cars. Balconies in a neighbouring building were damaged.
