Head of district court nabbed red-handed with bribe in Rivne region, - NAB. PHOTOS
On Thursday, Dec. 24, the detectives of Ukraine's National Anti-Corruption Bureau jointly with police and the SBU apprehended the head of one of the district courts in the Rivne region while receiving a bribe.
Censor.NET reports citing NAB press service.
According to the bureau, the judge through intermediaries demanded and received a bribe from a female citizen in the amount of $3,500 for assistance in the cancellation of a decision on parental rights deprivation.
The involvement of the regional court of appeal is now being checked.
Investigation is underway.
