Russian hockey coach fights in Donbas. PHOTOS
Not only career soldiers, but also members of sports patriotic organizations are coming to Ukraine from Russia to fight in the war they have nothing to do with.
This is reported by international volunteer community InformNapalm, Censor.NET informs.InformNapalm's team has revealed Ivan Voropaev from Tambov city in Russia, who is a hockey player and coach of a youth hockey team and a Donbas terrorist (links to profile, contacts, and photos archives).
Ivan Voropaev's profile contains albums from both his military experience in an illegal armed gang of the self-proclaimed "Donetsk People's Republic" and his hockey coaching. In communication with kids on the social network he announced time and dates of training. The most recent message was written on March 9, 2015, reading the training was canceled. As it turned out later, it happened because the coach left for the Donbas.
Allegedly since summer 2015 and possibly until now Voropaev has been listed in the 5th brigade of the First Army of the Russian Federation, which is proven by a tactical sign, a diamond with a 5 in the center, painted on the equipment that the coach took images with.

In his photo comments, Ivan does not conceal the fact that he is in Donetsk.

The image below, taken near one of Donetsk's shopping malls, proves his location.

"It is hard to predict whether Voropaev will continue his coaching career and come back to Tambov, or remain forever in the Donbas steppes, just like another hockey player turned mercenary Yuriy Sikhvardt, call sign Ditrikh, who was killed on Dec. 1, 2015," the authors of the article conclude.
