Zakarpattia region activists block Russian trucks heading for Europe. PHOTOS
Activists have launched an indefinite blockade of Russian trucks at the entrance to the Zakarpattia region.
Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform correspondent.
A few dozens of ATO fighters, volunteers, activists have gathered outside Nyzhni Vorota village to block transport with Russian license plates. Some trucks turn around and go in the opposite direction, while others simply pull up and watch what happens next. Activists behave politely, police controlling the situation.
Protesters say they will set up checkpoints where they will pull duty "until Russia is recognized an aggressor country and prohibited to do business on the Ukrainian soil, until the government blocks any trade with Russia."
As reported, Poland has recently banned Russian trucks from entering its territory, so they actively use border between the Zakarpattia region and Slovakia and Hungary.
