Ramshackle house collapses in downtown Kyiv burying builders under rubble. PHOTOS
Several floors have collapsed in one of the failing buildings on Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street in the center of Kyiv during repairs today, Feb. 25.
Kyiv mayor spokesperson Oksana Zinovieva wrote on Twitter, Censor.NET reports.
According to her, the builders, who have been working on the construction site, are being rescued from the rubble at the moment.
Zinovieva also informed that Mayor of Kyiv Vitalii Klitschko had also arrived at the scene.
Later she clarified that the ramshackle house, which residents had been resettled, was meant. The house was privately owned. The repair work was underway at the site.
