Ukraine's Ombudsman Valeriia Lutkovska confirms the SBU used tortures against leader of Azov-Krym civil corps Stanislav Krasnov, who is detained on suspicion of illegal possession of weapons and espionage.
She announced this on air of 112 Ukraine, Censor.NET reports."Representatives of the commissioner for human rights paid a visit to SBU detention facility. Indeed, injuries were recorded, while their legality or illegality should be established by the prosecution," Lutkovska stressed.
According to her, all the relevant materials have been sent to prosecutor's office for investigation.

As reported, on the night of Feb. 28, SBU officers detained leader of Azov-Krym civil corps Stanislav Krasnov. The activist is suspected of illegal possession of weapons, collaboration with Russia's special services, and subversive activity. Later, Krasnov's lawyer said his client had been tortured during interrogation.
