Ukrainian scientists protest near parliamentary building (updated). PHOTOS

Several thousands of Ukraine's science representatives arrived at the Verkhovna Rada building in Kyiv.

As reported by Censor.NET correspondent, vehicle traffic at Hrushevskoho Street near the parliamentary building has been blocked.

Representatives of Ukraine's science and education sector are holding placards reading names of scientific institutions and slogans "Scientists are the wisdom of the nation" and "We are slaves without science."

Participants of the event are shouting "Take your hands off science!"
