People's deputy of Ukraine Yehor Soboliev says Aidar Battalion Commander Valentyn Lykholit has been apprehended upon the claims by officials-separatists.

Censor.NET reports referring to Soboliev's Facebook.

"Aidar's legend Valentyn Lykholit (call sign "Batia") has been detained. Nadiia Savchenko's commander. He has been detained by the military prosecutor's office at the request of the leaders of Sievierodonetsk separatists - a former mayor and his deputies. Those who let the city become part of the "LPR". They accuse Batia of seizing their camera and other tangible assets by his soldiers.

"We are trying to take Batia on bail in the Pechersk court. If they leave him behind bars, it will be an ultimate proof for me that Ukraine is occupied. We can not put up with it. It just can not be," he wrote.
