A fire in the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant Zone of Alienation has been put out.
Censor.NET reports citing the SES press service."At 7:45 a.m. July 19, the fire in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone was extinguished," the statement notes.

20 pieces of equipment and 108 SES employees were engaged in the firefighting.


As previously reported, a fire occurred in the vicinity of former Buriakivka village in the Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, affecting forest litter and shrubs in different places across the area of 15 hectares.
