Independence Day military parade’s first rehearsal held near Kyiv. PHOTOS

The first rehearsal of the combined forces military display as part of the March of Independence scheduled for Aug. 24 was held at Antonov plant’s takeoff strip near Kyiv Aug. 2. More than 200 soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine took part in it.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The report reads: "Another six or seven joint rehearsals will be held depending on the troops' readiness.

"The guardsmen have been drilled at the training center in Novi Petrivtsi village in the Kyiv region for three weeks now," the press service informed.
