Deputy Information Policy Minister of Ukraine Tetiana Popova has tendered her resignation.

Censor.NET reports citing Popova's Facebook.

"I am leaving the government. I do not agree with attacks on journalists and freedom of speech by some politicians and political organizations. I can not accept the lack of appropriate response to these attacks. In protest, I'm quitting the government and will continue to defend the ideas of Maidan, freedom and democracy as a citizen and a volunteer. I will continue to struggle for all those things our patriots are defending at the front," she wrote.
