Russia has twice attacked rescuers in Nikopol with FPV drones. PHOTOS

On 19 May in Nikopol, Russian forces carried out two targeted attacks using FPV drones against State Emergency Service (SES) rescue workers who were heading to extinguish a fire in a residential building following shelling.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

How the attacks on the rescue workers took place

  • State Emergency Service specialists were on their way to extinguish a fire in a residential building following yet another enemy shelling.
  • At that moment, the Russian occupiers cynically struck the fire engine with FPV drones.

Electronic warfare equipment helped repel the attack

"Almost every day, the enemy deliberately targets rescuers as they deal with the aftermath of strikes, so they are forced to work under the constant threat of further attacks and use electronic warfare equipment just to have a chance of survival," the State Emergency Service noted.

So this time, the emergency services managed to knock the drones off course, but they still hit the equipment.

No personnel were injured

Fortunately, the personnel were in cover and were unharmed. But the very fact of this attack proves once again: Russia is deliberately targeting those who pull people from the rubble, put out fires and are the first to come to the rescue after strikes!
