On the evening of May 20, an accident occurred on Heroes of Kharkiv Avenue near the "Armiiska" subway station. An 18-year-old boy died, and a young girl was hospitalized.

The director of the city's department of emergency situations, Bohdan Hladkykh, reported this, writes "Suspilne", Censor.NET reports.

What is known?

It is noted that the fatal traffic accident occurred at about 21:30. A passenger car crashed into pedestrians who were jaywalking, after which the bodies were thrown onto another car. These were an Audi and a Volkswagen moving in the same direction.

The 18-year-old boy died on the spot. A young girl was also injured — she was hospitalized.

The investigation is ongoing

The age and details of the injured girl are currently being established. From the site of the accident to the underground crossing of the "Armiiska" subway station is about ten meters. According to Hladkykh, investigators are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the accident.
