Hid under belongings and cloth: border guards find "illegal" in car trunk in Kyiv Oblast. VIDEO+PHOTOS
In Kyiv Oblast, servicemen of the 9th Border Detachment exposed another failed attempt to illegally cross a checkpoint. A local resident tried to enter the border area by hiding in the luggage compartment of a car.

The incident occurred during a routine vehicle inspection to enforce border regime rules. While inspecting the car, border guards noticed a suspicious pile of items in the trunk.
Under a cloth covering, surrounded by bundles and bags, the servicemen found a man. As it later turned out, the "conspirator" was a resident of Bila Tserkva. He had no legal documents granting him the right to stay in the border strip, so he decided to bypass the check in this way.
The car was driven by an acquaintance of the offender. He agreed to the scheme and undertook to secretly take his friend through the checkpoint at his request.
The resident of Bila Tserkva now faces court proceedings for violating Ukraine’s border legislation.
