In the Hlukhiv community, Russian troops launched a second attack on rescue workers who were putting out a fire following a drone strike.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
According to the service, firefighters were extinguishing a fire in a warehouse that had been hit by an enemy drone when a further explosion occurred next to a fire engine.
Despite the dangerous situation, all personnel managed to leave the affected area before a second strike, so there were no casualties among the rescue workers.
The fire has been fully extinguished
The Security Service of Ukraine and the emergency services report that, despite the constant threat of follow-up attacks, all sources of fire at the site have been completely extinguished.
The incident once again highlights the Russian military’s practice of launching repeated strikes against civilian services whilst they are carrying out rescue operations.
