On the morning of 26 June, during evacuation operations in the Buryn community in the Konotop district, the enemy carried out a targeted strike using an FPV drone against a service vehicle belonging to the ‘White Angel’ crew.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Sumy regional police.

As a result of the attack, the vehicle sustained damage; however, according to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

"The ‘White Angel’ unit is constantly operating in the region’s border communities, from where it evacuates families with children, elderly people, people with reduced mobility and anyone else in need of assistance. Every such mission takes place under the constant threat of repeated shelling and drone attacks," the police stated.

Despite the constant shelling, the ‘White Angel’ crew continues to evacuate civilians from the border communities of the Sumy region, putting themselves at risk on every mission due to the threat of renewed drone and artillery attacks.

"For many residents of the border areas, they remain the only chance to leave dangerous settlements in time and save their lives," the police added.
