Russia attacked rescue workers in Zaporizhzhia whilst they were fighting fire. PHOTOS
Whilst the fire was being extinguished, a Russian UAV attacked the rescue workers again. A fire engine was damaged, but there were no casualties.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
As a result of the attack, a fire and rescue vehicle was damaged, but the emergency services personnel managed to take cover and were unharmed.
"Russia is deliberately targeting those who save lives. But even under the threat of repeated strikes, rescue workers continue to carry out their duties for the sake of people’s safety," the State Emergency Service emphasised.
