Massive attack on the Kyiv region: seven injured, damage reported in several districts (updated). PHOTO

On the night of 2 July, Russian forces launched a massive attack on the Kyiv region using drones and missiles. Private homes, warehouses, a student hall of residence and cars were damaged; emergency services are dealing with the aftermath of the strikes.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk.

Damage in several districts

In the Bucha district, emergency services are extinguishing fires in warehouses and a private house. A car has also been damaged.

In the Brovary district, six private homes, a hall of residence and a car have been damaged. 

In the Obukhiv and Fastiv districts, private homes have been damaged.

In the Vyshhorod district, a car has been damaged.

Casualties

Kalashnyk reported that there have been casualties as a result of yet another massive combined enemy attack on the Kyiv region

Three men were injured in the Bucha district.

Two of the injured, diagnosed with closed head injuries, burns to the body and lacerations to the head, have been admitted to hospital.

They are under medical supervision and are receiving all necessary medical care.

Another man sustained lacerations to his face. He was given all necessary treatment at the scene.

As of 9:15 a.m., it was reported that the number of casualties had risen.

According to Kalashnyk, the number of casualties has risen to seven as a result of the Russian attack in the Kyiv region.

"In the Bucha district, two more people sought medical assistance. They are a 58-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman. Medical personnel provided them with all necessary care on the spot.

Two people were also injured in the Boryspil district. A 43-year-old woman was diagnosed with multiple abrasions on her back and an acute stress reaction. A 50-year-old woman suffered a through-and-through wound to her left shoulder," the statement said.
