Casualties of the enemy strike

According to him, the fire covering an area of 9,000 square metres has been extinguished, and State Emergency Service specialists are clearing the rubble and continuing to search for people. Night-time strikes

"From the evening and throughout the night, there were also missile and drone strikes. In Kyiv, ballistic strikes damaged railway infrastructure. One person was killed, and another was injured. In Zaporizhzhia, there was an utterly barbaric strike by an FPV drone on a city minibus; three people were injured. The regions of Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Sumy, Kherson, Chernihiv and Mykolaiv were also under fire. Residential buildings, energy and railway infrastructure, and civilian enterprises were damaged," the Head of State noted.

Strengthening air defence

According to him, every day that Ukraine’s air defence remains inadequate results in casualties that could have been avoided.

"Protecting lives requires daily decisions and effective support from the international community, and right now it is precisely new supplies of ballistic interceptors and other missiles that can help. I thank everyone who is helping our people and supporting Ukraine with concrete actions," Zelenskyy concluded.
