On the morning of 23 August, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda arrived in Kyiv.
He announced this on social media platform X, according to Censor.NET.
What is known
As noted, over the next two days he will take part in events marking Ukrainian Flag Day and Independence Day.
He also noted that he has a meeting scheduled with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In addition, Nausėda will take part in discussions with allies from Northern Europe and the Baltic states, as well as in a meeting ofthe ‘Coalition of the Willing’.
"We stand with Ukraine today – as it celebrates its national holidays – and always," emphasised the President of Lithuania.
