On the afternoon of 26 August 2026, Russian forces launched an attack on Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

This was reported on a Telegram channel by Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, according to Censor.NET.

"One person was killed and two others were injured. The enemy launched an attack on Pavlohrad," the statement reads.

According to the Regional State Administration, several cars caught fire. Windows in a high-rise building were shattered.
