At least 10 people, including three children, have been killed in southern Ukraine as result of Russian attacks

Ten people have been killed and 40 injured in four regions as a result of Russian attacks

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have launched massive attacks on towns and villages in the Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Mykolaiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions using drones, aircraft and artillery. There have been fatalities and dozens of people have been injured; children are among the victims.

Zaporizhzhia region 

In Zaporizhzhia, three people were killed and a further 19 were injured as a result of enemy attacks, including two children, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration.

In particular, a Russian drone struck Kushuhum in the Zaporizhzhia district. One man was killed and four others were injured.

In total, over the past 24 hours, the occupiers carried out 539 strikes on 42 settlements in the region. The enemy carried out 15 air strikes, deployed 417 UAVs – predominantly FPV drones – and carried out 107 artillery strikes.

Kherson Region

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, over the past 24 hours Russian forces attacked critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas in the region. Two high-rise blocks, nine private houses, a shopping centre, a cultural centre and cars were damaged.

Three people were killed and a further 13 were injured as a result of the Russian aggression.

Mykolaiv region 

In the Mykolaiv region, Russian troops deployed Shahed/’Gerbera’ and ‘Molniya’ strike UAVs, according to the acting head of the Regional Military Administration, Heorhiy Reshetilov.

The most tragic consequences resulted from the evening attack on the Veselynivka community in the Voznesensk district. In the village of Tokarivka , two 11-year-old boys, one 13-year-old boy and a 30-year-old man were killed in the strike. A 36-year-old woman was injured and hospitalised. A shop, a pharmacy and a ‘Nova Poshta’ branch were damaged.

In the Snigurivka and Horokhiv communities of the Bashtanka district, the enemy launched two attacks using ‘Molniya’ drones. A private house was damaged in Snigurivka, and a combine harvester was damaged in Novotymofiivka. There were no casualties.

In Ochakiv, Mykolaiv District, an 81-year-old woman was injured as a result of a Shahed/‘Gerbera’ attack. She was hospitalised; as of this morning, her condition is moderate but stable. An apartment block was also damaged.

A private house was damaged in Chornomorska.

In the early hours of the morning, the enemy launched three attacks using ‘Molniya’-type UAVs on the Snigurivka community. A healthcare facility and a pharmacy were damaged as a result of the attacks. No one was injured.

Dnipropetrovsk region 

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the enemy has attacked three districts of the region nearly 30 times since the evening using drones and artillery, according to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Hanzha.

In the Nikopol district, Nikopol and communities in the district came under attack. A five-storey building was damaged and a farm building caught fire.

In the Synelnykivskyi district, private homes, a farm building and cars were damaged. A fire broke out in Pavlohrad.

Thus, according to the latest operational data alone, at least 10 people, including three children, were killed as a result of Russian attacks in four regions, and more than 40 others were injured.
