Russians attack Red Cross warehouse in Kherson with drones: humanitarian supplies burned. PHOTOS
On the evening of August 23, Russian occupiers carried out a drone strike on a Ukrainian Red Cross warehouse in Kherson. A fire broke out at the site.
The Ukrainian Red Cross reported this on Facebook on the evening of August 24, Censor.NET reports.
UAH 28 million worth of aid destroyed
The fire damaged and destroyed humanitarian supplies stored at the warehouse worth almost UAH 28 million.
These included equipment and materials for preparations for the autumn and winter period, as well as emergency response supplies for dealing with the aftermath of attacks, including materials for temporarily covering damaged buildings.
The warehouse also contained medical supplies, blankets, hygiene kits, equipment for providing water and electricity, and other humanitarian aid.
No Ukrainian Red Cross employees or volunteers were injured.
