This morning, Russia attacked Kyiv with drones: buildings and an administrative building were damaged in Sviatoshynskyi district. PHOTOS

On the morning of 29 August, Russian forces attacked Kyiv with strike drones. Enemy drones approached the capital in several waves, notably from the area of the Kyiv Reservoir and from the north.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.

Specifically, at 05:02, a group of jet-powered UAVs was heading towards Kyiv from the area of the Kyiv Reservoir. At 05:35 a.m., another group of drones was moving towards the capital from the north. At 05:37, the Air Force reported the movement of yet another enemy drone heading towards Kyiv.

Explosions were subsequently heard in the capital.

There has been damage in the Sviatoshynskyi district

As a result of the morning attack, residential buildings and an administrative building in a residential area of the Sviatoshynskyi district were damaged, according to the State Emergency Service.

Two residents of a private house sought medical assistance. Details regarding their condition and the number of casualties are being clarified.

Rescue workers also helped a woman who was trapped inside her home due to the entrance door being warped.

Emergency services are working at the scene, surveying the area and dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack.
