Russian forces attacked the Mykolaiv region with strike drones yesterday and this morning. Civilian and energy infrastructure came under attack. As a result of the massive attack, over 300,000 customers were left without electricity.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the State Emergency Service and the Mykolaiv RMA.
A supermarket and a warehouse were damaged in the attack. A fire broke out at the scene. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.
The Russians struck at energy infrastructure
An energy infrastructure facility was also hit. The attack damaged windows in blocks of flats, an administrative building, three garages and a car.

Russian forces carried out another strike on an energy facility in the Mykolaiv district.
Due to the threat of further attacks, rescue workers had to evacuate personnel to a safe distance. Once the situation had stabilised, work resumed on the ground.

A localised blackout occurred in the region as a result of a massive attack by Russian strike UAVs.
According to the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Russian forces again attacked the region’s energy infrastructure this morning using Shahed-type drones. Energy facilities were damaged, resulting in a number of sections being emergency-shut down.
Power supply issues have arisen in Mykolaiv, as well as in communities in the Mykolaiv and Bashtanka districts.
According to preliminary information, over 300,000 customers were left without power.
Power company staff and all relevant services are working on the ground. They are dealing with the aftermath of the Russian attack and restoring the power supply.
The Mykolaiv Regional State Administration stated that all available personnel and resources have been mobilised to restore power to consumers as quickly as possible.
