Russian attack damaged VARUS warehouse in Kyiv region: there may be delays in supply of goods. PHOTO
During the night of 30 to 31 August, the VARUS warehouse in the Kyiv region was attacked once again.
This was reported by Censor.NET, citing a post by the supermarket chain on Facebook.
What are the consequences?
As emphasised, the most important thing is that everyone is safe and none of the staff were injured.
"Unfortunately, the attack itself caused significant damage: a large quantity of our goods was damaged or destroyed. As a result, there may be delays in deliveries and a temporary shortage of certain items on our shop shelves in the near future. We are already doing everything possible to resume supplies as quickly as possible and ensure our shops are stocked with the necessary range of products," the statement reads.
Nevertheless, all the chain’s shops are currently open and operating as usual.
What led up to this?
It was previously reported that air quality had deteriorated in five towns in the Kyiv region as a result of enemy attacks.
