Vuhlehirsk TPP damaged by Russian militants’ artillery strike. PHOTOS

Shelling committed by the militants of the Russian hybrid forces in the Donetsk region inflicted damage to the Vuhlehirsk thermal power plant.

The militants' shelling impacted the area near the Vuhlehirsk TPP yesterday at 5:10 a.m. The artillery strike was conducted from the direction of Horlivka - Semyhiria. The Ukrainian military observers recorded eight hits of 152-mm projectiles.

Three shells fell on the territory of the thermal power plant. The powerful explosions demolished the potable water tank. The TPP's water-testing lab was damaged as well.

In the presence of the OSCE SMM representatives, the servicemen of the Ukrainian side of the JCCC (Joint Center for Control and Coordination of cease-fire in the Donbas) recorded the sites of impact of 152-mm ordnance and damage sustained by the infrastructure facility.
