Ukrainian hackers helped revealing Russian seaman Yuriy Popov fighting in Donbas. PHOTOS

Popov Yuriy Sergeyevich was born on June 21, 1985, registered in Vologda, Russia. Popov serves as a contract soldier - a seaman of the military unit 74777, Novosibirsk Islands. His e-mail address is [email protected]. His deleted social media profile can be found here.
He made comments to the statements posted on the page of the military unit No. 74777 on VKontakte social network in August 2014. The following Popov's picture was attached to the letter reading: "Hello, could you please clear things up regarding joining the Viking (motorized rifle brigade of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" - Ed.). My name is Yuriy. I served in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as a sniper scout, infantryman scout, and chemist scout. I have been fighting in the Donbas for half a year now."
Popov executed criminal orders of the Russian military command and participated in the occupation of the Donbas under the guise of Sparta and Pyatnashka illegal armed groups of the Russian terrorist forces in summer and fall of 2015. The pictures of certificates issued to Popov by the military units of the so-called "DPR" can be seen below.
It is noteworthy that Popov's mailbox contained payroll sheets indicating that he was the active Russian military and received salary from the Russian Defense Ministry while accomplishing combat missions in Ukraine (summer and fall of 2015).
It is known for certain that Popov was listed as a member of Pyatnashka detachment of the so-called "DPR" as of Jan. 25, 2016 and received payment from the representative of the "Donbas Volunteers' Union".
