The identities of snipers of the 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation fighting in Ukraine’s east have been established.
This is reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which continues gathering information about members of the Russian occupation forces taking part in battles in the territories in the east of Ukraine temporarily uncontrolled by Ukrainian government, Censor.NET informs.The Ukrainian intelligence agency established identities of military of the snipers platoon of the 5th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade (military unit No. 08805, Makiivka) of the 1 Army Corps (Donetsk) of the Territorial Troops Center (Novocherkassk) of the Southern Military District (Rostov-on-Don) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation executing criminal orders of the Russia's military and political leadership to commit lethal sniper attacks near Marinka, Slavne, Berezove, Novotroitske, Novohnativka, and Yasne in the Donetsk region against both Ukrainian soldiers and civilians. They are also involved in instigating attacks on representatives of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission during their stay in the territory controlled by the Ukrainian side:
