Italian instructors complete training of Ukrainian National Guard soldiers. PHOTOS

The servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine have successfully completed a comprehensive training course provided by the Italian Carabinieri at the National Guard’s training center in Novi Petrivtsi village near Kyiv on Thursday, Sept. 22.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the press service of the National Guard of Ukraine.

The four-week training included basics of maintaining order in the streets, patrolling cities and villages, regulations and procedures during detention of offenders, including dangerous special criminals, as well as actions in case of emergency.

The group of Italian instructors was headed by Carabinieri Lieutenant Pietro Skabardi. Senior noncommissioned officers Antonio Taurino, Luka Piskozzi and Sergeant Demeniko Locorotondo were also involved in the drills.
