An experimental training of the separate artillery brigade of Pivden (South) Operational Command took place on Shyrokyi Lan ground in the Mykolaiv region.

The gunners performed a simulated mission of a mechanized brigade. The exercise lasted for two days.

While shooting at contingent goals, the gunners worked out various kinds of fire both during the day and at night.

The peculiarity of the exercise was that the gunmen used new kinds of ammunition for howitzers and new radar reconnaissance employed by the brigade recently. The artillerymen also trained new techniques of enemy elimination.
