A car fell into a ditch in the Zakarpattia region. Two people were killed in the accident.

Censor.NET reports citing National police in the Zakarpattia region.

Driver of Renault Laguna lost control and fell into a ditch near the village of Zniatsiovo on the Kyiv-Chop highway in Mukacheve district last night.

The 40-year-old driver and a 33-year-old passenger died at the scene. Other passengers (39-year-old man, 40-year-old woman and a six-year-old girl) were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Criminal proceeding was opened under article 286 (part 3) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
