Fallen heroes for Ukraine's independence commemorated in Kyiv. PHOTOS

A commemoration event for "all those who died for the independence of Ukraine" was held at the cross honoring the Heavenly Hundred on Instytutska Street in Kyiv today.

As Censor.NET reports citing ТSN, a prayer service in memory of the victims was held at the cross. The event was organized by relatives of the Maidan protests victims, volunteers and soldiers of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO).

A guard of honor was provided by cadets of the Makarenko Kyiv professional-pedagogical college.

The event took place for the third time.
