Employees of the tax police and the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) seized smuggled cigarettes (worth a total of six millions hryvnia) in the Odesa region.
Censor.NET reports citing the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine.Five minivans were stopped for inspection at the 394th kilometer of Odesa-Kyiv highway. Law enforcement officers found and seized 302,000 packs of cigarettes produced in Russia (without duty stamps). The seized cigarettes' total worth is more than six millions hryvnia.
If these cigarettes were sold at the Ukrainian market, the state budget would lose three millions hryvnia of income, the SFS reported.
