The doctors of the Dnipro Mechnikov hospital could not manage to save the young soldier.

The volunteer Oksana Trapezun-Zhehrai wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

"20-year-old Rostyslav Truhanskyi was seriously injured while protecting Avdiivka from the terrorists. The enemy shell smote his both legs, so they had to be amputated,'' she wrote.

''Shell fragments wounded his whole body, with a penetrating wound to the abdomen. The personnel of the intensive care unit of the Dnipro Mechnikov hospital fought for Rostyslav's life. He was connected to a lung ventilation system. The volunteers took care for a soldier. The residents of Novyi Rozdil collected funds for his treatment," the volunteer wrote.
