Soldier of the 72nd Mechanized Brigade Roman Kyianytsia was killed in action around Avdiivka town on March 4.

Censor.NET reports referring to the 72nd Brigade press office.

"We have another loss... Yesterday, March 4, at 10:05 p.m., 72nd Brigade soldier Roman V. Kyianytsia, born in 1992, tragically died in an enemy attack outside Avdiivka," the message reads.

The brigade extends its condolences to the family and friends of the fallen warrior. A farewell ceremony will take place on March 7.

Roman joined the military in 2010. On Sept. 28, 2016, he signed a contract to serve as a machine gunner.
