Solidarity actions in support of the Belarusian Freedom Day took place in Kyiv today.

The solidarity action is aimed to support Belarusian and Ukrainian political prisoners, Censor.NET reports.

The participants started from laying flowers at the monument to Hero of Ukraine Mykhailo Zhyznievskyi, a Belarusian national killed during Euromaidan events, at Hrushevskoho Street.

After that, people marched to the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus (at 3 Kotsiubynskoho Str.), where they held a rally.

The activists honored the Hero with a minute of silence and laid flowers at the monument.



Then, the activists went to the embassy of Belarus in Kyiv.
