On the night of March 29, unidentified persons fired on the premises of the Consulate General of Poland in Lutsk. The attack made a hole in the roof and broke a window.
Censor.NET reports citing the local online outlet Volyn24."They wanted to hit the window at the end... The attack occurred at around 00:30 a.m. The consul told the police the security guards had heard the sound of explosion," the report says.

Judging by the size of the hole in the roof, the attackers were likely to use a grenade launcher or another "serious weapon."

Deputy Consul Krzysztof Sawicki confirmed the fact of shooting, adding that no one was injured as a result.

"The attackers lacked accuracy or experience. Perhaps, [they shot] for the purpose of warning or provocation," said a law enforcement representative.
